Bethany Pritchard

BIM Consultant

Throughout her educational and professional careers, Bethany Pritchard has pursued architecture & technology, a symbiotic union resulting in her passion for providing specialized technology support and training for architects. Over the years Bethany has worked with several different architectural firms as a designer, architectural intern, CAD manager, and BIM manager.

Early on her specialization was in AutoCAD and Architectural Desktop (now called AutoCAD Architecture), but more recently Bethany’s expertise has expanded to include Revit. Her experiences teaching Architectural Desktop at PVCC and attending Autodesk University in the early 2000’s sparked her interest in expanding the use of technology in the architectural industry through training and developing standards, templates and customized tools. She has been committed to providing these types of services to architects since 2002 when she started a consulting business after her son, Eddie, was born.

In 2011, Bethany started the Charlottesville Revit User Group – another avenue for supporting the adoption and use of technology (specifically Revit) in the architectural community in Charlottesville.

Last summer Bethany attended an “Inside the Factory” event at Autodesk where she was a beta tester for Revit for a week! She is now part of a select group of people who beta test and report bugs and issues to Autodesk.
