Child Centered

Early in our discussions the Team decided that above all the school must be child-centered. The Living Museum provided a number of examples of ways to "tune in" to children - from providing intriguing and captivating "moments" to catering to children via scale and ergonomics. The circular window in the otter habitat invites observation, and the step beneath allows smaller children to view, too. Likewise, the underwater window set in the roots of a tree provides children with their own unique view of an aquarium.
