The project is currently pursuing LEED GOLD.
Manassas Park Elementary & Pre-K
Several design features have been implemented into the new school for Manassas Park that would make it green, including using daylight to light much of the school, using geothermal heating and cooling techniques, growing vegetated roofs, and harvesting rainwater to do things like flush toilets in the school.
Jefferson Scholars Foundation Center for Graduate Fellows
This building includes numerous environmentally friendly design elements, such as a geo-thermal heating and cooling system, sustainable building materials and lots of natural light. Rainwater will be collected and recycled for irrigation, a courtyard fountain and flushing toilets. This project is pursuing a GOLD certification.

The new Poquoson Elementary School is designed for high academic and building performance, with special attention paid to daylighting, acoustics, thermal comfort, water efficiency, and energy efficiency. The building is a LEED registered project and is currently pursuing a GOLD certification.
The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey's New Student Center

The addition and renovations to Brownsville Elementary School in Albemarle County, Virginia, will increase the existing school's capacity by 190 students. Anticipated as the first LEED Certified School in the county, the building is projected to use 37% less energy than other code-compliant schools of similar size.
Baldwin Elementary School
Amenities in this brand new elementary school for Manassas, Virginia, could include outdoor ponds and study areas, a 45-foot-tall sundial, themed classrooms and a control board within the school's walls on which students can monitor the school's water and electric use and the temperature in and out of the building.
Piedmont YMCA
The City of Charlottesville will overhaul the west end of McIntire Park when a new YMCA designed by VMDO Architects is built there in 2009.
UVa's College at Wise Multi-Purpose Arena
Designed to showcase athletic performance, the building will seat 3,000 fans in a horseshoe bowl that optimizes sight lines while bringing spectators close to the on-court action. On track to achieve LEED Gold Certification, the project features innovative natural ventilation and stormwater management strategies.
