We are thrilled to have Metropolis Magazine help tell the story of the new Lubber Run Community Center in the July/August 2021 issue.
The article provides a rich exploration of the project’s innovative site interventions, expressive materiality, and net-zero outcomes that have together created an accessible community resource in Arlington, Virginia. Everything about this public space centers on people. It is designed to support wellness and equitable access. This is a place where everyone in the community belongs.
The full Metropolis article can be read here or pick up your print copy of the magazine. Special thanks to Metropolis Magazine and Elissaveta Brandon for sharing this project’s story and introducing an even larger community to Lubber Run.
