Brady Scott

Designer

Brady joined the VMDO team after graduating from the University of Virginia in Spring of 2019. His undergraduate years were spent exploring a variety of creative endeavors in and beyond architecture, including songwriting / performing locally as well as crafting small-scale wooden projects for peers. He was heavily involved in Christian campus ministry, leading small groups, mentoring students, and volunteering throughout his latter three years of school. In the realm of architecture, he contributed labor and technical knowledge to multiple Habitat for Humanity projects in Siler City, North Carolina and worked with Fine Concrete Studio to fabricate unique functional and decorative furniture pieces. He also participated in a collaborative design studio with the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Tribe for the design of their new tribal education and community center in Fall of 2018. Outside of work, Brady enjoys camping, weightlifting, reading, and playing music. He invites others to inquire on and share in his obsessions with Marvel movies, Hamilton, and Fixer Upper.
