Jon Shealy

Since joining VMDO in 2005, Jon has provided key design work and management for projects of various scales and scopes. He is passionate about creating learning environments for students that complement a school’s culture and support overall academic performance.

For Poquoson Elementary School in Poquoson, VA (the first LEED Gold-certified school in Virginia) and the multi-phased additions and renovations for Fauquier High School in Warrenton, VA (also LEED Gold-certified), Jon helped develop creative design solutions to enhance learning spaces and support site-specific needs, often using inspiration from the environment to create indoor/outdoor educational opportunities.

Most recently, he is provided project management for Edna Karr High School in New Orleans and Paul VI Catholic High School in Loudoun County, Virginia.
