An experienced project manager in VMDO’s DC office, Michael has worked on an array of public projects amounting to over $250 million for clients across Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia. Michael draws upon his varied experience as a marketing professional, a freelance photographer, and a professor of media and design to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration with students, clients, and colleagues. He recently guided the successful completion of two recreation facilities in the DC Metro Area: the renovation and addition to a historic carriage house of Stead Park Recreation Center and the transformative Marlow Heights Community Center. 

Passionate about the future of the profession and empowering emerging professionals, Michael has served on the AIA Virginia Board of Directors and chaired the planning committee for the 2024 AIA Virginia Design Forum.
