Originally from the Midwest, Ryan Carbone found his way to VMDO after completing his graduate studies at the University of Virginia. Ryan’s extensive travel of the world from an early age is what shaped his appreciation for site and place and ultimately led him to the profession of architecture. Driven by an eye for craft and a passion for storytelling through design, Ryan is a skilled project architect who is highly adept at BIM modeling. During his tenure at VMDO, Ryan has worked for many college and university clients including Old Dominion University, Roanoke College, and Virginia Tech.
