The vision for the new 162,000 SF School of Engineering and Computational Sciences imagines the project as the basis of an Innovation Campus for Liberty University that supports dynamic, interactive, and hands-on learning opportunities within a collaborative environment.

Rooted in the planning effort was the consideration of 21st-century teaching and learning. Technology-rich details and spaces, along with state-of-the-art classrooms and study rooms, accommodate a range of learning styles and student needs across Liberty’s evolving campus. The study also considers a Motorsports wing for vocational support and training. As an innovation hub for the city of Lynchburg in central Virginia, this building promises to train a new generation of innovators who will translate research into new technologies that drive economic development in the Commonwealth and beyond.
