Gwen Murray is a licensed architect with over twenty years of experience in the building industry. Ten of those years included the management of her own design build residential and sustainability consulting firm. She was an adjunct professor at UVA School of Architecture for three years teaching graduate level courses on daylight analysis and integrated passive strategies. Her passion for building science and responsive environmental design led her to join VMDO in 2025. As the Director of Sustainability, she oversees the integration of performance analysis into projects and setting the bar high for sustainability at VMDO.
