As a principal and leader in VMDO’s Higher Education market, Michele provides a wide range of project management and design expertise, while also serving on the Firmwide Management and Marketing Committees. Since 1996, Michele has focused on residence hall design and currently co-leads VMDO’s concentration in Residence Life. Her primary interest lies within the broader framework of Student Life and how thoughtful residence hall design contributes to an enriching student experience, both academically and socially. She is a skillful problem-solver who introduces new design ideas that are deeply rooted in experience. 

A dedicated facilitator, Michele particularly enjoys helping her clients develop a vision and successfully realize their goals through each project. Her commitment to client service is apparent as she continually seeks client participation throughout all stages of a project. Actively engaged in professional organizations, Michele frequently shares her insight and experiences at conferences like SEAHO, ACUHO-I and SCUP.
