Nina Comiskey is a project architect with over a decade of professional experience. As a leader within VMDO’s Civic + Community market sector, Nina is passionate about the intersections of building, landscape, sustainability, and the urban environment.
Nina finds enjoyment in all phases of the design process, from early community stakeholder engagement and visioning sessions to working with contractors as buildings are constructed. She is a project leader on many community-focused projects including the award-winning Lubber Run Community Center in Arlington, Eureka Recreation Center in Roanoke, and the Western Loudon Recreation Center.
Outside of project work, Nina leads a firmwide task force that analyzes our construction administration process and sets standards for effective project management.
