As part of VMDO’s Design Thursday weekly gathering, John Trevor recently presented new 3D modeling software and visualization technologies, and shared his experience attending the 2018 Sketch-up 3D Basecamp Conference in Palm Springs, California. The collaborative Design Thursday events serve as an outlet for staff to share experiences, discuss creative design ideas, and socialize at the end of the day. VMDO supports a wide range of continuing education opportunities, conferences, and trips for all staff. In John’s case, his recent conference experience supports his ongoing work within VMDO’s Visualization Advocacy Group, one of many internal groups that spearhead cooperative research tools and knowledge.
